Program Details

  • Brand specific to Asoyia Non-GMO 1% Ultra Low Lin varieties
  • Acreage contract with simple contracting process
  • Identity Preserved protocol requirements
  • Deliver all production from contract acres to Cargill facilities
  • Transportation allowances where applicable
    • $0.05 per bushel for 51-65 miles
    • $0.10 per bushel for 66-80 miles
    • $0.15 per bushel for 81-95 miles
    • $0.20 per bushel for 96-110 miles
    • $0.25 per bushel for 111+ miles
  • Soybeans must pass Non-GMO testing to receive the Non-GMO premium
  • GPS coordinates for each field producing Asoyia Ultra Low Lin Soybeans is required
  • Address for each bin location is required for test sample procedures

Delivery Details

  • Delivery location: Cargill facilities in Bloomington, Illinois & Cedar Rapids, Iowa
  • Flexible delivery schedule
    • Monthly delivery (November, 2008 through September, 2009)
    • Limited harvest delivery available (October, 2008)
  • Flexible buyers call program within month of sale

Marketing Details

  • Asoyia Ultra Low Lin soybeans are marketed like commodity soybeans
  • Forward contracting available for any month during the crop year
    • Producer can reserve bushels for a delivery month without contracting, but must deliver beans during that designated month
